Final Outcome:
B – Developing Scills: 5/8
Comment: There is a misalignment in your print and there in an inconsistency in the level of colour on the second layer print
D – Responding: 4/8
Comment: You have included the edelweiss but your colours are not Austrian

“You have included no references so I have not been able to give you any credit for the information you have included. There is a lot of information missing from this piece, if you want to work on this more, then you may resubmit it.”
“Hello Miss M,
I saw my grading on MB, and it seems like you accidently graded the old version of the essay – not the newer version that was uploaded on the 20th of April. I would be thankful if you could re-grade the essay, this time using the second version.
And I also wanted to note that I used orange instead of brown because there was no brown available.
Thank you,
L”
Die Antwort kam am Tag danach:
“Good Morning L,
I will remark it, but it looks like the only difference is your references. This will give you one or two more marks, but may not change your overall grade.
Thank you Miss M”
“You have been awarded marks where you have identified the motifs but not referenced where you got the information from. You have provided a bibliography but that cites inappropriate sources ie an atlas, an illustrated book and a brochure. It does not show how this information links to your essay (have a look at how to quote and reference, or use a footnote.) There is still a lot of information missing from this piece.”
Version1 Version2
Background ist die 8. Klasse, Kunst ist ein Pflichtfach, KEIN Wahlfach.
Das war die Aufgabenstellung:
Present your information in a visually appealing and interesting way, making sure that you reference all of your information. Include your work wherever possible.
Map:
Label where your country is on the map
5 Motifs (minimum):
What does the motif mean?
Images of the motif (drawn or photographed)
Textile:
What is the textile?
Why/how is it made?
Images of the textiles
Colours:
What colours can you find
What do they use to dye the fabric (traditionally)
OR what do the colours represent
Method:
What process do they use to get the motifs on the fabric? (batik, weaving, embroidery, block printing, tie dye, shibori….)
Extra Information:
Present any other information that you have been able to find on the culture.
Eg: trade, how is the textile used, what developments have they had, how have they changed (anything you find interesting!!)
